Natural plant - Beaucarnea - with planter

$4999 $5999

Beaucarnea is native to the arid regions of Mexico. It adapts quite easily to growing conditions indoors in a well-lit room.

Its main attraction comes from its swollen base with a corky, crevassed texture, hence the name elephant's foot. The stem is a large water reservoir, allowing the plant to absorb a lot of water. Beaucarnea recurvata is a slow-growing plant that rarely reaches more than 2 m in our homes.

Its unique look brings an exotic and elegant touch to any space.

Extra information

Light and watering

Beaucarnea needs at least five hours of direct sunlight per day. Therefore, place the houseplant directly in front of a window. With a south-facing window, the elephant's foot can be up to 3 meters from the window. If this houseplant is placed in a location that is too dark, it will not produce fresh leaves and there is a greater risk of root rot.
Beaucarnea stores water in its stem. This is why the houseplant requires little water. Only water the Beaucarnea if the soil has been dry for a long time.
